Project Margo Pavers
This 3,000 sq ft paver driveway shows what a clean, modern design can do for a home’s curb appeal. We installed 2 3/8" Ultra Combo pavers in the Glacier blend, a mix of cool grays, charcoal, and white tones, and framed it with a 4x8 brick paver soldier border in Charcoal. The dark border against the lighter Glacier field gives the driveway a sharp, defined edge that ties right into the home’s modern exterior.A great-looking driveway has to start with a solid foundation. Here’s how we did it:
Precise measuring and permitting compliance. We laid out the driveway to stay 4 ft off the culvert pipe and keep the apron under 27 ft wide at the street.
Planned layout. Every row was mapped out before installation, so there are no awkward cuts and the pattern flows cleanly from the street to the garage.
Compacted crushed concrete base. We brought in crushed concrete paver base and compacted it in place so the pavers won’t sag, shift, or sink over time.
Expert paver installation. Each paver was hand-laid, then locked in with joint sand for a tight, durable surface.
Concrete edge restraint. We finished the perimeter with a thick, smooth-finished concrete footer. It holds everything in place, and it still looks finished if it’s ever exposed.
